I noticed that there are huge glasses area on the ceiling. It is a super energy-efficient design, because the building will definitely use less energy during the day by having this design.

I observed that people can have a good view of outside at any places in the building. I recently learned from my Architecture class that it can actually help us to release pressure after a long day.

Here is the blog I found which features the building: http://thesuperslice.com/2013/04/16/statoil-regional-and-international-offices-a-lab/
One important thing I learned from the article is: the roof, wall, and glasses material is all special designed to be energy-efficient.

Three thoughtful facts I learned from it:
1. The Statoil HQ is actually built on an old airport.
2. The Statoil HQ has a huge parking lot which was built for the airport.
3. The communication center (the atrium) is built at the center of the building, so workers can take a rest with anyone in the building easily.
